The smart high side switch is a component that protects electrical circuits from electrical breakdown damage (overcurrent in case of abnormalities). Unlike fuses used for protection in the past, it combines semiconductor technology with built-in protection circuits and energy absorption circuits, so even in the event of abnormal electrical energy (overcurrent during abnormal conditions), it will not be damaged. Smart high side switch is also known as semiconductor fuses, which helps build maintenance-free systems.
