Smart High Side Switch

The smart high side switch is a component that protects electrical circuits from electrical breakdown damage (overcurrent in case of abnormalities). Unlike fuses used for protection in the past, it can utilize semiconductor technology with built-in protection circuits and energy absorption circuits, so that even in the event of abnormal electrical energy (overcurrent during abnormal conditions), it will not be damaged. It can protect circuits without damage or deterioration, hence also known as semiconductor fuses, which often help build maintenance free systems.
